Real Southern BBQ vibe with great food and beer options. Felt like we were in Austin or KC or Nashville even though we were minutes fom Peterborough. Staff were helpful and showed us the pits out back too!

Love, this, place!! It has so many options for foods. They got all the goods, my personal favourite is their Pulled Pork Sand-which. I am of age (under 14 I think) where I can get the student sand-which. The student sand-which is the Pulled Pork Sandwich it’s just 5-6 dollars instead of 10-13. I really appreciate Muddy’s doing this because at my age I don’t have a job so for lunch 5 bucks for a full meal is really good!! The employees at Muddy’s are amazing!! They are so kind to everyone who walks into there. The din in area is amazing, you can sit outside to smell the fresh pork being smocked right out back. The bench’s out in the front area are really nice to eat at. Inside is also so cool! All of the details and cool knickknacks in there, there is also a cool arcade machine in there ( pretty sure it’s broken) but it’s a really cool piece of furniture. Overall

hop out the car and you’re immediately hit with delicious smokey smells. Lots of options on the menu, including pork, beef, mac and cheese and poutine. Our beef brisket sandwich and medium chilli nachos came out to about 30. The menu and sizing can be a bit confusing as everything is priced by weight, also slowing down the ordering process. The young man taking orders would also take each order then immediately make the food, rather than taking the orders of a group then making food. Where they lack in efficiency, they make up for in food quality and flavour. All the food was made to perfection and delicious! We sat in the sheltered outdoor patio area, where there are large picnic tables. I imagine you’d need to share a table with others during busier times. Very rural feel that we enjoyed, I’d definitely recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner if you’re in the area.

We go every weekend either on the way to or coming back from our cottage. Best beans I’ve ever had! My go to is a pulled pork sloppy and I’m never disappointed. Wonderful carrot cake too! Make it a point to go there and enjoy

I don't eat ribs...BUT....I definitely eat Muddy's ribs!!! The sauce is so tasty and sweet without the sticky fingers!! The brisket is melt in your mouth!! Friends had the Sampler for their first time experiencing this amazing BBQ pit! I love the live music! I also buy the dry rub mixture that they have for sale. It's worth the drive to Keene, Ontario

A random google find on our way home from Ottawa. What a great stop. Tried the Carnivore Sampler, beans and lemonade. Very reasonable prices and the food was very good. Love the atmosphere! Oh, and Go Bills!!

Excellent! It's worth the drive to Keene if you are not from the area. Chili Nachos were an unexpected surprise, and the smoked meat is really good.

It's one of the iconic spots to eat bbq around Rice Lake. A must stop and grab a bite and listen to live music on weekends. The beef brisket sandwich is great and very filling. Highly recommended bbq spot.
